Traditions Ramrod Tip works with 50 caliber saboted bullets. The bullet is held over the end of the Ramrod then loaded into the ramrod tube. The bullet then passes through the end of the Ramrod tube where it is held by the firing pin and fired out the muzzle of the muzzleloader. Because of the close proximity of the bullet to the end of the ramrod it is very difficult for the bullet to be knocked off during the loading process. This bullet loading tip has a tapered nose piece that gathers the remaining bullet and guides it onto the ramrod. The bullet is self encapsulated in liquid Nitrogen and because it is ramrod loaded it can be loaded and withdrawn without having to touch the muzzle of the muzzle while loading. This product is not a stand alone for the ramrod as it is commonly known. The loading tip is included in the exact size needed for the ramrod and is constructed from solid brass.
