A great appliance for light-duty sealing and packaging, this Weston / Harvest Guard vacuum machine (model 65-1001-w) is suited for food storage or sous vide cooking, as well as myriad non-food applications. With a 110W motor that runs on regular wall current, this external vacuum sealer generates 110 watts of sealing power (measuring about 22.5" on the H.G. vacuum strength scale. There's a connection port for canisters as well as easy to use digital controls regulating sealing duration and vacuum pressure. This non-chamber vacuum sealer will seal bags up to eleven inches wide. Included with purchase are ten vacuum storage bags, quart size. Note: "external" vacuum machines do not efficiently seal nontextured, non-embossed bags. For best results you should use bags with textured or embossed linings.
